Lowest to Highest, dir. Matthew Newton, Australia 2018, 27′
lang: english sub: polish

If you’ve read Alfred Szkalrski’s books, you know what’s the highest peak in Australia. That’s also the goal of five disabled friends. They aim to be the first, who will cycle from the lowest point of the country – Kati Thanda – Lake Eyre – salt lake in the desert, 15 m below the sea level, up to the highest one – Mount Kościuszko.

2150 km on a bicycle sound like a tough mission even for toughest cyclists. And Duncan is blind, Walter has breathing problems, Daniel can’t walk, Conrad can’t bend down and half of Paul’s body is paralysed. This movie is a story of five heroes, who decide to live their dream, despite the limitations. Would you?
