Martijn Doolard decided to live an adventure of this kind, biking from Amsterdam to Singapore and covering over 17.000 km through Eastern Europe, Kirgiz mountains and temples of Myanmar. One Year on a Bike is a record of this journey – of the breath-taking places, of the people encountered on the road, of the small off-road villages, and the din of great cities.
