You make and watch films or ride and take shots. We bet you’re doing great and you want your films to be in circulation. This is the exact goal of the PLATFORM – to enable the Polish competitive cycling groups (BMX, downhill, fixed-gear, CCX) to present their achievements to a broader audience. Not only that. The Platform is also (or maybe in the first place) an all-Poland film contest, presenting themed productions related to bicycles. We want to gather the various bike subcultures, from professional riders and filmmakers to passionate amateurs who shoot their rides. Such a broad approach to the subject will introduce the participants of the festival to the specificity of the artistic and sport endeavors of activists in Poland, and will allow for an active participation in its creation. The Platform is dedicated to you.
Documentary, fiction, short film, animation – there are no restrictions on the form, while technical requirements are described in the rules. The important thing is that the film’s duration should not exceed 15 minutes. This way a greater number of artists will get a chance to present their work in the festival. We encourage professionals and amateurs, directors, cinematographers, and lone creators: submit your work!
The Platform will involve an open contest among the submitted films, and the audience of the festival will choose the winner. Another prize will be awarded by the jury. The prizewinners will receive great splendor, to which we will add non-cash awards. If you have any questions – write to us!
